We are recruiting enthusiastic singers for our exciting 2023-24 season during which we will be performing Brahms’s German Requiem, Bach’s St.John Passion, culminating in Verdi’s Requiem at Cadogan Hall in June 2024. (See also in News).
Our choir is made up of talented singers from South West London and Surrey who are passionate about choral music. Prospective members are welcome to come along and sing with us at one or two of our Thursday rehearsals. This is a great opportunity to see if Twickenham Choral is the right fit for you, and to meet our friendly and welcoming members. Whether you’re looking to improve your vocal skills, make new friends, or simply enjoy the experience of singing with others, we would love to hear from you.
After a couple of weeks when you have found your feet the conductor will ask you to pass a brief voice test. A basic knowledge of music is necessary, but perfect sight reading or a voice like Pavarotti’s is not! There is no need to prepare a piece.
Rehearsals for our December 2023 concert start on 14 September at 7pm St. Catherine’s School, Twickenham. NOTE: rehearsals on 21 September, 19 October and 30 November will be held at The Mall School, Twickenham.
